ENGINE WORKS GENERAL PRODUCT WARRANTY
90-Day Limited Warranty
Engine Works warrants its products to be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 90 days from the original date of purchase.
This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is limited to products purchased through an authorized Engine Works distributor or dealer.
Warranty Claims
If a product is believed to be defective, the purchaser must contact the original place of purchase to initiate a warranty claim. Proof of purchase and/or other information requested by Engine Works may be required to process the claim.
All warranty claims are subject to review and, when necessary, inspection of the product. Products may be required to be returned to Engine Works or the original seller for evaluation before a warranty determination is made.
Upon receipt of an approved warranty claim and any required product or documentation, Engine Works will make every reasonable effort to issue a credit or provide a replacement product within 30 days.
The remedy provided will be determined by Engine Works and may consist of a replacement product, credit toward the original purchase, or another appropriate remedy.
Warranty Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage or failure resulting from:
• Improper installation, assembly, or adjustment
• Misuse, abuse, neglect, or accidents
• Modification or alteration of the product
• Improper maintenance or storage
• Installation or use outside the product’s intended application
• Normal wear and tear
• Damage caused by other components or systems
• Labor, installation, removal, towing, transportation, or other incidental costs
• Products that have been disassembled, modified, or otherwise altered in a manner that prevents
proper inspection
• Products purchased outside Engine Works’ authorized distribution network
Limitations of Warranty
This warranty is limited to the repair, replacement, or credit of the defective product as determined by Engine Works. Engine Works shall not be responsible for any incidental, consequential, special, or indirect damages arising from the sale, installation, or use of its products, to the extent permitted by applicable law.
No warranty claim will be accepted beyond the 90-day warranty period, unless otherwise required by applicable law. This warranty gives the purchaser specific legal rights, and the purchaser may have additional rights that vary by state or jurisdiction.
Engine Works reserves the right to inspect any product and make the final determination regarding warranty eligibility.
